I produced an exhibit design proposal bid for the Boston Society of Architects (BSA), where I curated and designed a temporary exhibit to fit within the BSA’s exhibit space. The proposal included a narrative, a plan layout and 3D renderings, along with a budget breakdown.
The proposed exhibit is linear flow and will use the Architects design process as a narrative thread, from site analysis to construction, to explore the subject matter. There are seven topics addressed:
• Sense of Place
• Materials and Technology
• Finished Product
• Looking towards the future
Peppered throughout the exhibit are profiles of notable Australian Architects, whose works are showcased. The unique designs and Architects that are highlighted in this exhibit will expose Boston designers and Architecture enthusiasts to, perhaps a little known, residential design niche from the other side of the world and inspire a more thoughtful approach to design where the site and nature take precedent.
